Marcus T Grant
Marcus T Grant (born January 7, 1978) is a manager in the music industry.
Grant is currently a manager at TwentyThree 12 Artists Management Group in Los Angeles, California. Earlier positions include management of the pop / urban department at The Collective, and owning and operating Oralee Management. At Oralee, he independently managed a number of Grammy Award winning music acts, including Chamillionaire and 112, while also developing such up and coming acts as Brick & Lace. In addition, Grant worked with music manager Johnny Wright on a project for R&B artist, Ciara.
==Early career==
Grant began his career in the music business in 1999, when he started as an intern at Sony Music, while also studying at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Eight months into his internship, he was chosen to participate in Sony Music’s Junior Executive Program, where he apprenticed under then Sony Music Chairman, Tommy Mottola. Shortly thereafter, Grant met music manager, Kenneth Crear, and together they formed an independent management company, whose clients included then unknown music artists Sisqo and Mary Mary.
